History and Service Overview
 Established: OSHA / Environmental Compliance Systems, Incorporated (OECS) was incorporated February 1, 1993. The primary company emphasis is to provide OSHA safety training, Environmental, and DOT compliance services to small and moderate size companies.
Clientele: We have a wide spectrum of companies we work with. In General Industry, the range is comprehensive from chemical companies, machine shops, metal fabricators, plastic injection, foundries, electronic, transportation, service industries and more. Our Construction Division is as diverse as General Industry. Our Clientele includes general contractors, construction managers of various disciplines and sub-contractors such as roofers, carpenters, dry wall, sewer and water, masonry, iron work and much more.
Services: We provide OSHA safety training, Environmental and DOT compliance services along with safety program development, compliance audits with documentation on a part time basis, project basis or an hourly basis. OECS, Inc. tailors service to the customer’s needs. Safety training programs are drawn from real-life experiences and to create an excellent training forum for employees.
Audits: Facility and jobsite compliance audits are accompanied with photos. Our turnaround is quick using the E-mail system.
Recognition: We have been recognized by the American Society of Safety Engineers (ASSE) in receiving the Safety Professional of the Year Award from the NW Chapter ASSE (Minnesota, North and South Dakota) and Region V (surrounding eight states). In addition, we have competed nationally for the ASSE Safety Professional Award. This prestigious award is given out for professionalism, innovative approaches and integrity. MNOSHA has also recognized OECS as the only consulting company that has brought the first two companies into the MNOSHA SHARP’S program, which is a tremendous feat and has not been done to date by other companies.
Qualifications: The expertise that OECS, Inc. offers is remarkable. Our Associates have been safety directors in general industry and construction. The educational experience ranges from Bachelors of Arts to Master in Industrial Safety and Health. Our staff has achieved professional levels such as Certified Safety Professionals, Certified Industrial Hygienist, and Certified Health and Safety Technicians. Our adult training skills are greatly enhanced by completing the core curriculums and beyond established by International Toastmasters. The combined technical knowledge and experience of OECS, Inc. Associates provide a great value to the customer. The end result is that we have the knowledge and know-how to get the job done well, in a cost effective manner.
Bottom Line: Regardless of the type or size of our clients, we provide the same degree of professionalism and expertise. Our staff has experience in most sized companies. We bring to our clients the same safety and environmental expertise accessible to large companies to the small and medium sized clients who would otherwise not be able to afford professional services.
