Environmental Compliance Audits
We can assess your environmental program to determine if all requirements of regulatory agencies are being met. Besides meeting reporting deadlines, the regulations often require awareness of spill reporting requirements, periodic inspections, training and waste minimization plans.
We can also assist you in moving beyond environmental compliance to a level of environmental excellence by assisting you with implementation of elements of an environmental management system. Many companies have an Environmental Management System Program (EMSP) to deal with the various ISO type requirements but without the expense of certification, recertification and required audits. As a result, OECS, Inc. will help you develop EMSP to incorporate the “Green Issues” the ISO 14001 standard would address. The advantage of the EMSP is that it demonstrates to your clients that you have a “Green” program in place that is similar to the ISO 14001 Environmental Standard.
We can provide input as an outside evaluator/auditor to determine how well your company is doing with existing programs. This is a great way to see how your program is working within the company. We can determine what is being done well and what needs to be worked on.
